Host Hotel Information
Once again the beautiful Legacy Lodge & Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands Resort will serve as the host hotel. The hotel is on property where the race starts and finishes. This resort makes the perfect destination to make your race weekend extra special.

For reservations please call 770.945.8787 or 1.800.768.LAKE (5253) press option 2 and ask for the "iron" group rate of $179.00. This hotel sells out every year, so book your rooms soon. Also ask about the lake houses and villas if coming with a small group.

For online reservations click here for the reservation system. Once on the reservation system, enter your dates. Below the date menu, look for +Enter Rate Access Code, click on the + sign to expand the drop down menu if it is not opened and in the Group Code box enter, iron. Then click check availability to process your request.

Please note that everyone, whether you are staying at the resort or not, will have to pay the admission fee at the gate into the resort. The fee is $8.00 per car. If you are staying at the resort, the admission fee is good for the length of your stay.

The will be no admission fee admission on race day.

From I-85 North:
Take I-85 North to I-985 North, to Exit 8 (Friendship Road). Turn left on Friendship Road. Friendship Road will turn into Holiday Road and will dead end into the gates of Lake Lanier Islands.

From 1-75 North:
Take I-75 North to I-85 North. Continue on I-85 North to I-985 North, Exit 8 (Friendship Road). Turn left on Friendship Road. Friendship Road will turn into Holiday Road and will dead end into the gates of Lake Lanier Islands.

 Venue & Race Day Parking
The race begins and ends at the Lake Lanier Islands Resort Beach and Waterpark.  Enter through the front gate of the resort property, take the first left after bridge, and take the first right. Signs will be marked for parking.
Race day parking is only available at the Holiday Pavilion parking lot on race day. Please keep in mind this lot is ½ mile/15 minute walk to transition area
