There is bike course cut-off time again this year. You must complete the bike within 2 hours after starting the bike portion of the event. This time limit does not include the first 2 Mile run loop.

The bike will feature two loops starting out of the park on Chalet Road with a right turn on 84th and then south on Normandale Blvd. The bike course will travel up to the Minnesota Valley Country Club and return along Bush Lake Road along Hyland Park Preserve and Bush Lake Park back on to 84th. The bike course features some decent hills and good rolling terrain.

The run will be one 2 Mile loop inside Normandale Lake Park along the lake. The park and city offer a scenic race route.

Normandale Lake Park is located at 84th and Chalet Road, conveniently off the I-494 Highway from the Normandale Blvd. exit.

Event Day Information
We recommend you arrive early to allow time for to parking, walking or riding to transition, securing a spot in transition and get ready for a terrific race day. Transition will open at 5:30 a.m. with a prompt race start at 7:30 a.m.

Athlete wristbands will allow you in and out of transition.

Wave Starts
The event will feature a wave start for the run. Waves will be assigned according to age groups. You must start in your assigned age group otherwise you will be disqualified.
7:30 a.m. Wave #1 - Age Group 30 - 34 years old & Elite
7:33 a.m. Wave #2 - Age Group 35 - 39 years old
7:36 a.m. Wave #3 - Age Group 29 years old and under
7:38 a.m. Wave #4 - Age Group 40 - 44 years old
7:40 a.m. Wave #5 - Age Group 45 years old and over

Age Group Awards
Iron Girl will giveaway a special custom one of kind Iron Girl earrings to the top three finishers in each age group. We will have 15 age groups:  14 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 -44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 74; 75- 79; 80+

Medals
Everyone will receive a custom finisher’s medal!
