Bike Racking and Packet Pick-Up

*There will be packet pick-up and bike racking on race morning at Waterfront Park. We strongly encourage you to pick-up your packet and rack you bike on Saturday to avoid added stress to your race morning.
7:00 a.m. transition closes, all athletes must be out of transition.
All participants are expected to attend packet pick up on Saturday or Sunday in person. This is to due insurance liability mandates. All participants must show a photo ID, and all USAT annual members additionally must show their membership card. Per USAT rules, each participant must pick up their own packet. NO EXCEPTIONS. A unique wristband will be affixed at this time which must remain on through to the end of the race.

Sprint Distance: 1/2 mile swim/ 12 mile bike/ 3 mile run
Super Sprint Distance: 1/4 mile swim/ 8 mile bike/ 2 mile run
AQUA SPHERE SWIM COURSE:
A beautiful lake swim on the grounds of the Waterfront Park.
LIV GIANT BIKE COURSE:
Enjoy a 12-mile or 7.5 mile bike course that travels around Lake Minneola and through the rural roads of South Lake County. The course is primarily flat, but does include a few steep hills. The course will be well marked and volunteers to direct you.
RUN COURSE: Both run courses are out and back on the South Lake Trail. The course will be well marked and volunteers to help let you know where the turn arounds are. Water will be on the course at mile 1.5 and 2.5 for the Sprint and 0.5 and 1.5 for the Super Sprint.
Swim Wave Starts
You are assigned based on the USAT age rule, which means you are racing based on your age as of 12/31/2014. Your swim wave will be noted on your packet.
Wet suits Rules
USAT RULE Article IV Swimming Conduct
4.4 Wet suits. Each age group participant shall be permitted to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please note we will do an official water temperature reading on race morning.
Event Day Information
Early arrival is recommended to allow time for you to park, walk to transition and get ready for a terrific race day. Transition will open at 5:00 a.m. and will be closed at 7:00 a.m. All bikes must be racked by 6:30 a.m. Please arrive early for race morning. We will have a prompt race start at 7:30 a.m. Athlete wristbands will allow you in and out of transition.
Race Talks at the Expo
We will have two course talks on Saturday, September 20, Noon and 3:00 p.m. to attend to get the latest event information, directions and more. The course talk is not mandatory, but will help make a difference in sorting out race day.
Strollers, Inline Skates, Rollerblades, Headphones and Dogs Not Allowed On Course
For the safety of all participants, strollers, inline skates, rollerblades, headphones and dogs are not allowed on the course at any time.
Age Group Awards
Awards to the top 3 finishers in each age group will be presented limited edition Iron Girl jewelry from Milestone Jewelry.
We will have 17 age groups: 14 - 15; 16 - 17; 18- 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 - 44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 74; 75 - 79; 80- 84; 85+ You must be 15 years or older to participate in the event.

Venue & Race Day Parking
Clermont is located 20 minutes west of Orlando at the intersection of US HWY 27 and State Road 50. From State Road 50 in Clermont, take East Avenue north one mile to Palm Avenue and the entrance to Waterfront Park. Follow signs to Pavilion.
