Run Course Information
Course map to come
The course start and finish alongside the track, not on it. The race will head up to the Pacific Coast Highway for an out and back run. The race will finish with a short section on the track. The course is also USATF certified for both the 10K and 5K events.
Course Time Limit:
Please note that there is a 90-minute course limit for the 10K, which is a 14.29 minute per mile pace. The 5K has a 70-minute course limit, which is a 22:31 minute mile per pace.

Race Day Parking
Complimentary parking is available at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday morning. Please allow yourself enough time to get to the fairgrounds as the roads will close at 7:00 a.m. for the police to set the course closures. You must be in the venue by 7:00 a.m.
Age Group Awards
Iron Girl will give away one-of-kind Iron Girl necklace to the top three finishers in each age group. We will have 16 divisions: 9 and under; 10 - 14; 15 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 -44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 74; 75- 79; 80+
Medals
Everyone will receive a custom finishers medal!
Strollers, Inline Skates, Rollerblades, Bicycles and Dogs Not Allowed On Course at Anytime
Runner safety has always been and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. For the safety of all participants, strollers, inline skates, rollerblades, bicycles and dogs are not allowed on the course at any time.
Headphones
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
Volunteer for the Event
We are recruiting a team of dedicated volunteers to assist in helping each participant reach her goal of finishing! Are you part of a charitable organization? And individual looking for community service hours. We have opportunities for individuals and groups such as schools, clubs, churches and other not-for-profit organizations to volunteer at the event.
