Results and Timing

The Athleta Iron Girl Del Mar event will feature professional timing. There will be a special on-site results station after the event to print out your results. Also post race you will receive a personal Email with your individual results along with a link to print out your personalized finisher's certificate.

Award and Individual Scoring:
Iron Girl Awards are given for the overall winner and top 3 per division based on GUN TIME. Certificates and individual results will be given in CHIP TIME. Athleta Iron Girl Del Mar is a USATF Sanctioned Event. Per USATF Rule 245.1, the top three awards in the Running Events will be based on gun time (the order in which the athletes cross the finish line). Age group and Team finish times will be based on timing system time (the actual time elapsed between an athlete crossing the starting line and finish line). In short, Official Time per USATF rule is Gun Time.

At Iron Girl, we adhere to the scoring guidelines provided and submit results accordingly so that performances will be eligible for world rankings, national age group rankings, records and annual awards presented by USATF and various media outlets.
