Join us for the second annual Aflac Iron Girl Lake Las Vegas Women's Triathlon. Embracing seasoned athletes and novices alike, this event features an Olympic (1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run) and Sprint (.5 mile Swim - 10 Mile Bike - 3.1 Mile Run). Situated on the grounds of Lake Las Vegas Resort, a residential and resort community on a privately owned lake just miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip, this event provides women with the ultimate Aflac Iron Girl weekend – fitness and camaraderie, coupled with first-class hotel, restaurant, shopping and spa amenities.
The Aflac Iron Girl event experience provides women with a competitive platform and amenities such as: a post-race Breakfast Café, performance shirts sized just-for-women, professional timing, personalized race bibs, custom finisher medals and TriClique jewelry age group awards, post-race giveaways and reusable athlete goodie bags, part of Iron Girl’s “Green” initiative. All participants in the 2009 series will also receive a commemorative Aflac Iron Girl plush duck.
