Packet Pick-up and Bike Racking Rules
All participants are expected to attend packet pick up in person. This is due insurance liability mandates. All participants must show a photo ID, and all USAT annual members additionally must show their membership card.Per USAT rules, each participant must pick up their own packet. NO EXCEPTIONS. A unique wristband will be affixed at this time which must remain on through to the end of the race.

A beautiful lake swim Lake Chaubunagungamaug.
LIV GIANT BIKE COURSE:
Enjoy a single loop bike course that travels around Lake Chaubunagungamaug. You can say you road your bike in Massachusetts and Connecticut on race day. The course will be well marked and volunteers to direct you.
RUN COURSE: The course is in the park and out in the community. The course will be well marked and volunteers to help let you know where the turn arounds are. Water and HEED will be on the course at mile 1 and 2.
Swim Wave Starts
You are assigned based on the USAT age rule, which means you are racing based on your age as of 12/31/2013. Your swim wave will be noted on your packet.
Summer in Webster, MA, time for a summer triathlon. The average air temperature during this time is 70 degrees. Water temperatures for the lake along the shore is usually in 70 degrees. Water temps will be updated race week and again on race morning.
Wet suits Rules
USAT RULE Article IV Swimming Conduct
4.4 Wet suits. Each age group participant shall be permitted to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please note we will do an official water temperature reading on race morning.
Event Day Information
Early arrival is recommended to allow time for you to park, walk to transition and get ready for a terrific race day. Transition will open at 5:00 a.m. and will be closed at 6:30 a.m. Please arrive early for race morning. We will have a prompt race start at 7:00 a.m. Athlete wristbands will allow you in and out of transition.
Strollers, Inline Skates, Rollerblades, Headphones and Dogs Not Allowed On Course
For the safety of all participants, strollers, inline skates, rollerblades, headphones and dogs are not allowed on the course at any time.
Age Group Awards
Awards to the top 3 finishers in each age group will be presented limited edition Iron Girl jewelry from Milestone Jewelry. We will have 16 age groups: 15- 17; 18 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 - 44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 74; 75 - 79; 80- 84; 85+ You must be 15 years or older to participate in the event.
All finishers will receive a custom Iron Girl medal.
