Make a Difference in 2010... Race with a Cause!

The Aflac Iron Girl national event series will support the charitable cause of pediatric cancer research with the Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Your participation in an Aflac Iron Girl event can make the difference in the lives of children battling cancer. You can make your event extra special by racing in support of pediatric cancer treatment and research. You will make a difference in the lives of children faced with the challenge of cancer. You have the option to participate in the fundraising efforts that will support the Aflac Cancer Center.

Participants in the 2010 Aflac Iron Girl Series will have the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is a national leader among childhood cancer, hematology, and blood and marrow transplant programs, serving infants to young adults. Recognized as one of the top childhood cancer centers in the country by U.S.News & World Report, the Aflac Cancer Center treats more than 350 new cancer patients each year and follows more than 2,500 patients with sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders. Individuals who raise $500.00 or more for the Aflac Cancer Center will receive the following:
Iron Girl accessories and other goodies
Aflac accessories and goodies
Special race bib

All of your prizes will be sent once you reach the goal amount. If you hit the goal amount close to event, your prizes will be shipped to you soon after the event. All of your money you raise will go directly to the Aflac Cancer Center less a 6.5% processing admin fee. All of the prizes have been donated by Iron Girl and Aflac at no cost to the campaign.
